Further intrigues with the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency in Botswana., and another good read. I love these moral, feel good books, enhanced by having heard the recent broadcasts which give an inner ear for the delightful cadence of the dialogue.

The relationship between Mma Ramotswe and her assistant Mma Makutsi is beautifully drawn, and the musings of Mr J L B Matekoni on the nature of women and his wife in particular is a masterpiece.

I found this book fascinating with the writing being quite brilliant, but I found the Botswanian names a little bit hard to to get used to. I had only read the Scotland Street series and loved them, so this latest book was quite a revelation to me.

I enjoyed the slower pace of the book and as a result an insight to the culture and society.

I look forward to seeing the next book in the series, keep them coming.
