I have to say - I am a huge fan of both author Francesca Simon and actress Miranda Richardson, who's renditions of these Early Reader books makes them such fun to read and to listen to. They feel so alive and raring to go - and in this story - a female sheep who's searching the farm looking for her lamb.

A simple story well told made even more fantastic by Miranda Richardson - one that I feel will entertain both child and parent.

There is wonderful mayhem to be had here when Horrid Henry's school teacher set the class a reading competition! What would Henry do? Well cheat of course but in the end Horrid Henry gets his come upance!

I just love these horrid Henry audio books they are so funny especially the way Miranda Richardson reads them, with all the special effects to be had!

The book is split into 6 chapters thus enabling the Early Reader to read and listen to the audio at the same time. Perfect for the child and wickedly funny for the parent to listen to!

Always highly recommended.

This is a super Horrid Henry book full of facts and figures that would interest any kid and parent to be sure.

Did you know that an elephant has over 100,000 muscles in it's trunk and we have over 900 muscles in the whole of our bodies! There a plenty of facts from creepy crawlies to how long is the longest ear hair a human has ever grown!

I love this book which this time is illustrated by Tony Ross - so plenty of wickedly funny drawings to go with the facts presented. Definitely a book I highly recommend.

As ever Miranda Richardson is beyond brilliant in her rendition of Francesca Simon's Horrid Henry stories, and this quartet are very very funny. But my favourite has to be Horrid Henry Rocks!

Horrid Henry is forced to go to Daffy and her Dancing Daisies concert for young kids, when all he want to do is go to the Killerboy Rats concert! What happens next is wickedly funny.

I absolutely love the way Francesca Simon has such an evil way with her story lines, they really do have you laughing out loud at the antics that Horrid Henry gets up to.

What can one say about a Horrid Henry book - especially a mixed media one that has both the highly illustrated book and the audio cd - that hasn't been said before!

I love them - they are so funny and horrid Henry's antics in trying to not be the only person with nits is hysterically funny. I laughed all the way through! Miranda Richardson's rendition of it is just brilliant.

The Early Reader side is excellent with Tony Ross' illustrations, which make for a fantastic read with special Horrid Henry sounds to tell you when to turn the page.

Horrid Henry Gets Rich Quick is another wonderfully wicked story from Francesca Simon and read by the equally wonderful Miranda Richardson. Henry is up to no good again as he tries to get some cash quickly and some of his schemes are hilarious with quite a few laugh out loud moments!

There is also a read along version on the cd where parents and children can read along together and of course ;laugh together. The illustrations by Tony Ross perfectly reflect the story. I thoroughly enjoyed listening and reading to the story.

More than highly recommended.

This is just the single story of Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend - absolutely deliciously wicked! Here Henry and his class are trying to win some FA tickets to see their local football team play. But who will win them?

Wonderful mayhem on cd and an early reader for parents and children to read together.

One runs out of superlatives to say about these stories - just listen and enjoy. Highly recommended.

Horrid Henry and the Abominable Snowman audio book cd set comes in a snowman shaped tin with 3 cds covering 13 stories - all of them showing the mayhem that Horrid Henry can cause. Sometimes he means to do and sometimes it just happens - but the way Miranda Richardson reads/acts all the different characters - complete with sound effects are a joy to listen to. Children will love this collection which will keep them occupied for quite a while. Just make sure thy don't come away with too many ideas!

Francesca Simon has the most amazing imagination when it comes to her Horrid Henry character so popular in book, audio cd and childrens TV. How she keeps on coming up with ever new stories to keep her young readers happy (and they are!) is beyond me. I just love reading them but even better, I love listening to them read by Miranda Richardson.

Parents beware these stories may give your child ideas!!!

There is so much in these stories and Horrid Henry is positively evil! But somehow his parents even at their most exasperated always forgive Henry and his dastardly ways!
