A wonderfully Pink bible - that's small and zipped - so easy to carry without damaging those very thin pages. I like the NIV version of which this is - but the writing is small! Great for young eyes but those of an older dispostion will need those magnifying glasses!

The is a great version of the Bible that you can listen to in the car or where ever you are.  I love the readers Charles Collingwood and Rachel Atkins.

I have never listened to the Bible on cd before and this NIV version is so clear that you can easily go to the relevant chapter and listen. There are some very well known actors doing the reading but my favourites are James Fox with his very warm voice and Juliet Stevenson and Philip Franks who read Psalms - they have beautiful gentle but well modulated voices and I could have listened to them all day. Of course Derek Jacobi being a classical actor makes the reading sound so effortless.

Now I do have to say that I love pink in all it's many shades and this pink is very pink of a paler shade! It is beautifully tooled in a scroll design which I find very attractive coupled with the pages edged in gold. I do like the NIV translation and this Bible would make a very nice confirmation present for any young lady. However if you are a person who has to wear reading glasses you may need a magnifying glass!!

I thoroughly recommend this version and it always makes me smile just to look at it.

Beautifully compact leatherbound version of the Bible with everything that you need in it. Very useful and very easy to carry and read where ever you are.
