Kate ForsythKate Forsyth 2008 on The Gypsy CrownInterviewHaving very much enjoyed read Kate Forsyth'sbook The gypsy Crown I very much looked forward to meeting her at the April 2008 London Book Fair. Kate was absolutely brilliant even though we were being overwhelmed by the sounds of the press room and from the main hall. She had a fascinating story to tell about her journey from conception into print. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her. Enjoy. Read my review . ![]()

The Gypsy Crown
ReviewThe Gypsy Crown is set in 1658 in and around Kingston in Surrey with a few forays into Wiltshire and Kent. I was absolutely swept away with Kate Frosyth's story not just because it was so good but because I knew the areas she was writing about, even down to some of the markets and roads in Kingston and Epsom Downs. It is quite extraordinary that time has not changed a thing even down to the pubs and churches! ![]()
