For Lovers of God Everywhere

Author
Roger Housden
Genre
Review

What I like about For Lovers of God Everywhere by Roger Housden, is that it is an unusual poetry book in the fact that you have the poem on the left hand page, and on the right hand page is an explanation of the poem and it's author.

There are poems from a wide ranged of Christian Mystics - some centuries old and others quite modern. None is more than a couple of verses long, but all of them are succunct in what they have to say.

One Minute Mystic

Author
Simon Parke
Genre
Review

What a brilliant book full of short poems and short stories, which you can either use them for meditiaitons or just read and absorb.

One thing is for sure Simon Parke hates to be labelled or boxed in and at every available opportunity he will gently let you know that you need to rebel against this habit of ours - the need to pidgeon hole everything.

Loved it and highly recommend it - it will do it's very best to make you think and feel.

Angels Watching Over Me

Author
Jacky Newcomb
Genre
Review

If you are a non believer of a life after death - this book will give you much food for thought. I like the way Jacky writes in an anecdotal way making it easy for the reader to absorb what is being said especially if you are a believer.

I feel that 'Angels Are Watching Over Me' will bring a lot of comfort to people who are grieving and who are desperate to know that there is a life after death. There is also a how to make contact with relatives and friends as well, through meditation and visualisation.

Remembering the Future

Author
Colette Baron-Reid
Genre
Review

A fascinating look at how spirit can manifest in our lives through the authors own life experiences. Sometimes harrowing, but always heartening, Colette is able to use actual events in her life to show how she has been able to open up to the wonderful gifts that intuition has to offer us.

Your Destiny Switch

Author
Peggy McColl
Genre
Review

Focusing on how the "wrong" emotional states can act as barriers to realising your potential, Your Destiny Switch allows the individual to see how it's possible to change those states by simple, but effective exercises and affirmations. This book is able to bring a different approach to the normal "self-help" books by allowing people to look at the different emotional states that they invariably wallow in -mostly because they don't know any different- safely, but also (and more importantly) show them that there are alternatives within their grasp.

Quantum Success

Author
Sandra Anne Taylor
Genre
Review

This is a fascinating insight into how, by using Sandra Anne Taylors well thought out and reasoned rules and laws, you can change your life and attitudes to life. Quantum Success is different from many other "self help" books because it uses both spirituality and quantum science to empower the individual to make some real changes in their lives. There are several meditations; affirmations and rules will allow the individual to lay down concrete foundations that will affect every aspect of their lives.

A very insightful book which builds on the mind-blowing foundations of Lucid Living, and provides further context and explanation through Tim Freke's indomitable variety of articulate soul searching and "stand up philosophy".

Lucid Living

Timothy Freke
Genre
Review

For me, this is an important book and ranks with "The Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield; "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho and "Illusions" by Richard Bach.

It is certainly a book that needs to be read at least three times. The concepts contained inside the book are paradigm shattering. "A book that you can read in an hour that will totally change your life." -No kidding! With 7 reality shattering insights this book will strip away your preconceived ideas and notions about what constitutes your reality and replace them with mindblowing, but all too believable, alternatives.
