Allison & BusbyWhen The Clouds Go Rolling By
ReviewI love stories that are about families, especially those that have a secret in their past and skeletons in the cupboard. This is a great book for just that. As the end of the war rolls on we meet three families, the Bennetts whose dad was found to be injured and also Clara O'Toole who has lost her dad, the third family will come in at a later point, that of the Bennett's inlaws. ![]()

Girls of Tender Age (review 2)
ReviewIn 1950's America, in a small self-contained multi-national immigrant community, a girl of tender age, Irene, was murdered. In school, at home and in the community the murder was thereafter never mentioned. This true account is narrated from the viewpoint of the author, a class mate of the murdered girl. Now an adult, Mary-Ann relives her childhood with her generous, capable and caring father, intelligent and fragile mother, and her autistic special needs savant elder brother, Tyler. ![]()

Grief Encounters
ReviewThis is the first D I Priest novel that I have come across. I love crime fiction and this has certainly been a beauty of a book to read. When I saw the title I thought it was a printing error Grief Encounters as opposed to brief encounters, but know it is definitely Grief Encounters and what encounters they are. ![]()
