Review
I really like this format of getting to know a spiritual teacher in 30 days of readings, drawing on the writings of that person.
Here with 14th century writer Thomas a Kempis - well known for his work The Imitation of Christ - we get to know how he thinks in short prose in the morning, a mantra to take you through the day and then finishing of with the evening prose.
I like the way in which you are encouraged to take your time and read the prose very slowly to take in what is being said. I also like the mantras to take with you throughout the day, when life is just too busy to do anything longer. And then at the end of the day, resting in the words of the spiritual teacher.
Very much recommended an excellent way to get to know a spiritual teacher in a bit size chunk.
