Review
This book is based around the disappearance of a child named Josy with her father, a recognised psychiatrist who is very well respected in his field, giving up his practice to try and recapture what happened to his daughter. He decides to withdraw from the world to a quiet Island and go over what has happened in the four years since her disappearance! But is that what is really happening?
I found the story to be written in a very friendly and easy flowing script, although some of the terms used within psychiatric treatment may not be understood by all. Nevertheless the story is not only riveting but it makes the reader want to second guess what is going to be the outcome and will the real truth every be established in Victor’s lifetime.
I feel that the author Sebastian Fitzek has a major thriller on his hands and within there lies a script that could also become a major film in the near future. Why? Because of the visual imagery that it automatically brings to the mind, when reading the twists and turns of this tantalizing thriller.
