Synopsis

The three must deal with wayward dragons, missing diaries and the evil antics of the terrible Ignatius Crook, who is intent on stealing the dragon's eye and claiming the title of Dragon Master for himself. This brilliant novel, spanning the British Isles, brings to life many of the elements that fascinated readers in Dragonology. Now I have to say that I'm always hooked when there's a dragon story to hear and Dan Stevens' rendition of The Dragon's Eye made a very long journey to Bournemouth much easier to bare! Our supposed two hour journey had slowly became a four hour one and all you want to do it get out of the car and stretch - but Dan kept me glued to my seat as I wanted to find out what happened to our heroes - did they overcome the efforts of evil Ignatus Crook to steal the Dragon's Eye?
They travelled all over the place as we crawled along the motorway with our imaginations set alight. This is one story that youngsters will enjoy - the book may be highly illustrated but the audio will get the brain going as they visualise what's going on. I look forward to the next part of their journey in the sequel.
