Mr Parker, Station Master at Tail's End Station, is very cross with Jack the Station Cat. He sends him to Mews Junction School for Station Cats where Mr MacAllister the teacher turns Jack into a First Class Station Cat.
Review
This is a great story in which Jack the Station Cat has to go to school to learn his craft of - being a station cat - but he also learns how to sniff out fish! Mr MacAllister is the teacher who is full of tricks to say the least.
A story full of charm that any child can enjoy and I think a fare few parents as well. The illustrations are done by Nigel Cliff - Alan Cliff's son and really do enhance the story very well. I highly recommend this book for all children.
