Synopsis
A French minister, whose influence is largely linked to his money, is getting ready to support a military coup in a small African Republic where oil abounds. Najah must get close to Sam Natchez, who is overseeing the coup. Ironically, Najah has just saved the businessman's life and he asked her to be his guardian angel.
Review
A tale of agents and of intrigue, espionage and adventure. Insiders offers an interesting take on the comic books that I grew up with, and it's heartening to see a strong female lead character that doesn't rely on the size of her breasts to win the day! Najah is ruggedly beautiful, but has a strong, well rounded personality and is a deadly assassin (who could easily beat Bond at his own game), as well as being intelligent and ruthless. If you like reading action adventure yarns then this would be ideal. There's also a film in the pipeline starring Jessica Alba.
