Review
Well this book really speaks to, especially if you do read lots of books, or belong to a book club. I found the book amusing and yet so true of many people, who talk about books when all they have read is a write up in a magazine or heard the book spoken about on radio!
Henry Hitchens has written this book talking about some of the very well known authors like Jane Austin, Wiliam Shakespear and others. Many people have name dropped an authors name or a book they have read partially at a social gathering or interview but this book teaches you how to do it better and in a more convincing way. Or might even stop you avoiding books and begin to devour them.
This book pulls out some of the best quotations from many books or plays in the case of Shakespear, which will be familiar to many. One such being "A horse, A horse, my kingdom for a horse' a quote from Richard III.
So if you are able to quote just a small piece of the subject matter then you can come across as a marvel on the subject!
This book may be very small but it has a great deal of imnormation in it's pages and a great deal of facts and quotes for all to learn and suceed at the fine art of literary bluffing!
