Francesca Simon has the most amazing imagination when it comes to her Horrid Henry character so popular in book, audio cd and childrens TV. How she keeps on coming up with ever new stories to keep her young readers happy (and they are!) is beyond me. I just love reading them but even better, I love listening to them read by Miranda Richardson.
Parents beware these stories may give your child ideas!!!
There is so much in these stories and Horrid Henry is positively evil! But somehow his parents even at their most exasperated always forgive Henry and his dastardly ways!
My two favourites where Perfect Peter's Horrid Day and Horrid Henry's Perfect Day! Just to see how difficult it was for these two kids to change personality and behave like each other is very funny to read.
I highly recommend these books.
