Review
The is a great version of the Bible that you can listen to in the car or where ever you are. I love the readers Charles Collingwood and Rachel Atkins.
I decided to listen to a number of my special favorite passages, the first being from Revelations 21 verses 1 - 7: read by Rachel Atkins and it was beautifully read. My next passage was from St.Mathew's Gospel - Chapters 1 & 2 which list the geneology of Christ - lists I can't stand reading but to listen to them read by Charles Collingwood made the names mean so much more and I found myself looking in the Old Testament for where the names of Christ's life line appear.
This has really opened up another way of discovering parts of the bible that perhaps I have not studied before. I look forward to getting hold of the Old Testament on CD also then I can find any passage very fast and just listen and let the words just flow through.
