Synopsis

Grizzliness is out there. Every child has the makings of mischievousness, and can be lured into committing dastardly deeds. The three stories on each of the Grizzly Tales CDs show the rise and hard fall of vile and villainous children. In this book, unspeakable things happen to pets - but the real nasty little beasts are the children themselves, all of them get their comeuppance in the end, consigned to the Hothell Darkness ...Stories: The Grub A-Blub-Blub, Monty's Python and The Lobster's Scream

Review

Grizzly Tales Nasty Little Beasts starts by saying "Quick turn this disc off its dangerous!" but as any six year old would say "stuff that I'm going to listen to it any way!" These stories are not for the faint hearted or children who are prone to nightmares.

A group of wonderful stories for 6-10 year olds who don't worry about scary music or scary voices . The first is very spooky the second is lots better just a story read normally without the creepy music. The other two are also great stories.

The first disc has four stories on it the

1)"Welcome to the Hothell Darkness" 8 minutes long

2) "The Grub-a-Blub-Blub" 21 minutes long

3)"Monty's Python" runs for 24 minutes

4)"The Lobster's Scream" runs for 25 minutes.

Beautifully put together this is the first of the two discs.

Wonderfully read for the young children by Rupert Degas who has done many animated films and television series such as Mr Bean, Bob the Builder and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. You can not get bored with the stories because you can never tell the way he is going to interpret the stories.

Great Stories and two wonderful discs produced by Orion Audio books which you can have fun listening to the stories in the car on those journeys when the kids keep asking "are we there yet?" This will fill an hour of the longest journey and every child will not realise how much time has flown by because they can not wait to hear the end of the stories.
