This book is basically about saving the future of the world. On the cover it states that Green is the New Black for girls whe care about Global warming and next season's new look then this is the book to have.
I personally have always looked for clothes in charity shops and will look there before I go main clothes shopping. Tamsin Blanchard also looks at fair trade items and offers tips for all those aspiring green goddesses out there.
This book when I first looked at it seemed to be very domineering but having re-read it I can now see where and how the author has tried open up the eyes of many shoppers and given them many alternatives. It's great to see how the ideas of re-dye and remake can get you that new special item in the colour you want with out spending a fortune on something that you may only wear once!
I think the statement on the back which says smart and inspirational and is the coolist antidote to global warming, is the wonderful phrase on the back which says 'Recycle Me'!!
