Review
Having just read the two previous books, Twilight and Full Moon, I was super eager to sink my teeth into book 3, Eclipse.
Now Stephanie Meyer's style of writing is normally right on the money, eloquent without over detaling everything. She says what needs to be said, not beating around the bush, without confusing the reader with unnecessary jargon. This is why I managed to speed through the first two books in a couple of days each.
However, Eclipse the next book in the series was harder to read, because Stephanie Meyer looped around the same 'does she/doesn't she' indescisiveness over and over again before getting to the major, or climactic part of the story. This made the lead character rather pathetic in my eyes.
I really wanted to love this book as much as I had loved Twilight and Full Moon, but was just left feeling irritated by it. I am hoping that book 4 will redeem the series as I have fallen for so many of the fabulous characters and I need to know what happens next!!
