Review

Nick Green has cranked up 'Cat's Paw, the sequel to Cat Kin by quite a few notches. The adventure is breathtaking from the first page onwards and just keeps on at a relentless pace for the whole book, with Ben and Tiffany seemingly on different paths. However Nick Green soon has us rooting for our heroes in trying to overcome the polecat bandits lead by Martin Fisher.

The whole of the Cat Kin have improved in their Pashki skills and in the second half of the book come into their own, but the superior skills of Ben and Tiffany are quite incredible and Nick Green makes sure that we know that for these kids it didn't come easy. They were all put in difficult situations to refine and hone and even learn some new very difficult skills. I truly felt for them because it was quite emotional at times.

But the children are teacherless because Mrs Powell has seemingly disappeared, and then quite mysteriously a new teacher appears in the form of Geoff White - how are these two are involved - well I'll let you read the book to find out. All I can say is that this is a brilliant book that I exhort you to read.

Nick has very kindly answered some questions on his books for us.
