Every once in a while a great race horse is born that will become famous throughout the land. Buffoon is such a horse.
Tess senses something special in him, a hunger for success as great as her own. And together, they could go further than anyone would ever have imagined......
Review
Childrens and teenage books are always fun to read in amongst boring heavy course books. This story is so beautifully worded and for a minute I thought I was looking at a wrongly printed title. K M Peytons Book 'Blind Beauty' I think could be a classic after the likes of Black Beauty and one of her other books 'Flambards'. Both having been turned into television serials.
This is a book that shows a very touching tale of how friendships can survive when all the odds are stacked against a horse named Buffoon and its best very friends both animal and human (Tess).
K M Peyton has written many pony stories and this I feel is one of her best. It is written in two parts but you can not read one without the other, because the story willl not make sense.
