This is a wonderful book of simple prayers beautifully illustrated by Honor Ayres.
I thought when I looked at this book that it should not only be done for children but wonderful simple prayers that can be used by children and adults alike. Some of the prayers are based on verses from the bible and others cover special days. Some of the special days covered are the usual ones like Christmas and Easter, but there are also simple prayers to cover danger and disasters, illness, birthdays and prayers for their pets. Things that mean something special for children.
A wonderful gift for a child on their Christening, or on their first Communion, but it could also be a gift at anytime with the colour and the easy to read writing.
