Review

Michelle Paver is an extraordinary writer who is able to convey so much in her writings that make us believe and care about her characters Torak and Renn.

Torak is cast out from his adopted tribe and slowly going mad. Both wolf and Renn desperately want to help but he pushes them away as he sinks ever deeper into the battle within him.

Outcast is such a page turner that I read it in one sitting - I felt so much for Torak in his predicament and for Renn and Wolf who so much wanted to help.I wanted to find out how he was going to survive and would he find his friends again, but not only that how would he cope with yet another devastating secret.

I highly recommend this book for children and adults alike because Michelle Pavers stories just keep on getting better and better.
