On July 9 I attended a book reading in the Dorking Oxfam Book shop. Although it was well advertised only four
ladies attended. The author Mary Andrea Clarke lives in Guildford with her cat Alice. She is still a working lady and travels to London every day.
Mary writes historical crime novels set in the 18th century and had her first book published in 2007. It was very well received and since then she has written two more and the third one called Dept of Dishonour is coming out in August.
I read her second book Love not Poison which I very much enjoyed
All in all I had a very interesting and enjoyable morning.
