Introduction
ON July 31st 2008 my daughter Genevieve very kindly drove me to me to Brighton to meet author and artist Emily Gravett and chat with her about her extraordinary children's books and her artwork in them.
I very much enjoyed meeting her and discovering her influences for both the artistic side and the very simple but effective words that compliment the drawings.
