Kindle Wirelss Reading Device

This ereader is exactly the same as the 3G Kindle only with out the 3G Whispernet but if you have a high speed internet connection and a wireless router then you can download your books at home.

I love the fact that you can download a book - even a large book in under a minute and start reading it immediately in the font size of your choice. Because this uses E Ink Pearl technology there is no back light and doesn't glare or reflect in the sun. I love that you can carry around with you in your back or pocket, a veritable library of all your favourite books and then some. I have taken the opportunity to try authors I would never had bought in paperback only because they have been free.

I found the Kindle easy to carry around and is quite sturdy - gets bashed about in my bag - dropped on the floor and still carries on working! Even has heaps of other books on top of it at times an survives!

I've downloaded authors in different genres to suit my different reading moods and to try new authors, and my Kindle  will remember where I've left off and start from there.

Do I recommend it - yes, but will it take over from the paperback book - no - at least not for me, but it is so easy to take your favourite books on holiday with you now without taking up space in your luggage.
