Welcome to BFK Books - Raising awareness and funds for the care of Adults with Autism.

Most of us have heard of someone with autism, maybe even know someone, often it's a child of a friend, or family member. But what about when they grow up, does autism just go away when they become adults?

Well if you haven't guessed, the answer is No!

There is support for the children, but what about the adults? This is where organisations such as the Disabilities Trust come in, with specialised facilities across the country. It is they that we are raising funds for, to help those that did grow up, the Adults with Autism.

This year we hope to raise over £5,000 for the Disabilities Trust. This money will go towards improving their facilities, and providing specialist support staff. Of course if we can raise even more money for this worthy cause, then more's the better.

How do we plan on achieving our goal?

We hope to raise funds through the kind donations of our visitors who have enjoyed our website. To this end we will be providing book reviews, and interviews with authors and other personalities, and the occasional short story, or poem for your reading pleasure.

We will also provide a brief overview of autism, and to give an insight into Adults with Autism, we will occasionally visit the life of Naomi, and her story. And remember, she is only one of the many Adults with Autism that are out there needing support.
